Tis the season to give!
Here at Wonderworks, we believe that every child should have an opportunity to explore, wonder and play.

We rely on the generosity of the community to keep Wonderworks affordable while keeping its mission to serve children and families in an original, interactive environment that will cultivate, challenge and uphold their creative and intellectual potential.

For nearly 40 years, generous donors have kept our doors open and exhibits changing. With your donation, we can transform experiences and create a sense of wonder for the children of the Columbia River Gorge area.

“Wonderworks offers a safe, educational, creative and affordable space in the Gorge for young children and their important adults to explore and play together. We strive to spark children’s curiosity and imagination with unique and frequently changing exhibits, such as Café, Animal Hospital, and Post Office. Children can make themselves at home in the Playhouse, put on a show on our Big Stage, and create incredible structures in the Block area.

A dedicated infant area near the front of
the building receives ample natural lighting and is geared for our youngest visitors’ comfort and explorations.

We have an art area with some sort of sensory material (playdough, slime, etc) as well as a weekly craft that reflects children’s interests, community events and the seasons. We also periodically offer classes in science, art and music for children. We collaborate with local groups and agencies for playgroups and other special activities. Wonderworks is a nut free facility.”
