– PROGRAM OVERVIEW –

‘The White Salmon Lions Club was formed in 1980. We currently have 20 members from various backgrounds.

Our meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays, beginning at 6 p.m.
Locations vary as we enjoy supporting the local establishments.

What happens to the money we raise?
Lions are involved in supporting many worthy local causes, which include:

Scholarships for graduating seniors from Columbia High School, Trout Lake and Glenwood high school.

Skyline Hospital

Hood River 4th of July FIreworks

White Cane Days

White Salmon Schools Bus Shelters

White Salmon School Band Boosters

White Salmon Community Youth Center

Annual White Salmon Easter Egg Hunt

Eye Glasses and eye exams for people needing financial assistance, White Salmon Swimming Pool, smoke alarms, Art & Wine Fusion, Kiosk at Gaddis Park, Walk of Honor at the White Salmon Cemetery, Community Pride, Basketball Backboards at Columbia High School, United Way, and defibrillator for KCFD3

– GIVING OPPORTUNITIES –

Fundraising Events

The Lions two main fundraisers are:

Christmas Tree sales at Dickey Farms in Bingen, starting the first Friday after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve. Grand, Noble & Nordeman firs are available in natural or cultured forms.

Golf Tournament – 4-person scramble format held at Skamania Lodge Golf Course the 3rd Saturday in June.
